Swing Dancing and Beginner Lessons

Join us the last weekend in July as we host our very first swing dance. No prior experience is needed as the dance will be preceded by a swing dance lesson beginning at 6:00 p.m. This is a free, public, and family-friendly event open to all ages 7th grade and older. No partner is required for the lesson or the dance but we encourage you to bring lots of friends and family to ensure the best chances of everyone having a dance partner to learn with. We also encourage you to dress in 1940s attire if you want but this is not a requirement to attend. We recommend wearing cool, comfortable clothing and comfortable, non open-toed shoes. Water, coffee, and light snacks will be provided by the church. For any additional information and/or questions, please contact our intern Bryan Whitten at bryan@hopegeneva.org.
