40 Days of Prayer {Week 3}

Yesterday, we launched week 3 of 40 Days of Prayer. This week is all about the Holy Spirit. Children need to know that the gift of the Holy Spirit is for every believer, including them! Sharing with children about the work of the Spirit through the Disciples such as Peter and his calling to the Gentiles is a great way to show the gift, empowerment, and presence of the Spirit in the life of the believer. After all, Peter was the one that denied Christ, but through God's forgiveness and Spirit empowerment, Peter had an important role in building the kingdom of God!
